Senior Awardee: Only previous Young Jaina applicants/awardees who completed Class XII in 2025 and qualified in a competitive examination conducted in 2026are eligible in this category.
Graduation / Post Graduation: Only previous Young Jaina applicants/awardees who completed their graduation or post-graduation in 2026 are eligible.
PSC / UPSC: Only previous Young Jaina applicants/awardees who cleared PSC/ UPSC in 2026 are eligible.

ग्रेजुएशन / पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन: केवल वे पूर्व Young Jaina Awardee पात्र हैं जिन्होंने वर्ष 2026 में अपनी ग्रेजुएशन / पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन पूर्ण की हो।
PSC / UPSC: केवल वे पूर्व Young Jaina Awardee पात्र हैं जिन्होंने वर्ष 2026 में PSC / UPSC clear की हो।
We generally receive over 3000 applications. Final selection criteria (which are based on multiple factors such as merit, moral values, all-round performance, extra curricular activities etc., answers to two subjective questions) and cutoffs will be published once all forms are processed and shortlists are out by 30th July 2026.
Students' percentages will be normalised by dividing by respective board topper’s percentage. The normalized percentage then will be used to bring all boards to a uniform level playing field.
Post this, a merit list will be created, and shortlisting will be done. Please note some students will be selected even at lower percentages if they score exceptionally well in other criteria such as answers to subjective questions in the application form, moral values, exceptional national / international achievements, exceptional performance in competitive exams, or if they have been a prior awardee of earlier years. A few students from the city and nearby towns where YJA 2026 will be organized, will also be shortlisted.

इसके बाद, एक मेरिट सूची बनाई जाएगी, और शॉर्टलिस्टिंग की जाएगी। कृपया ध्यान दें कि कुछ छात्रों को कम प्रतिशत पर भी चुना जाएगा यदि वे अन्य मानदंडों जैसे कि आवेदन पत्र में subjective प्रश्नों के उत्तर, नैतिक मूल्य, प्रतियोगिता परीक्षाओं में असाधारण प्रदर्शन, असाधारण राष्ट्रीय / अंतर्राष्ट्रीय उपलब्धियां या वे पूर्व अवार्डी हैं, या उन्होंने यहां तक पहुंचने के लिए वास्तविक कठिनाइयों (दिव्यांग) का सामना किया है। जिस शहर में YJA 2026 का आयोजन किया जाएगा, वहां और आस पास के से भी कुछ छात्रों को चुना जाएगा।
